What's wrong with kids (or maybe their parents) these days? In the sixties, this frozen flooded wood would be totally scored with skate marks.

Nary a one. It's sad.

This little goldfinch will be a gorgeous canary yellow, come May.

The blocks make a nice shot near the river, a juxtaposition of cold ice and hot sunlight.

The blue sky seems to be part and parcel with our trips in the mid-morning hours. I feel cheated when there are too many clouds to see sky. It's cold, clear and charming.
